1. Ownership of Artwork & Images

All artwork, paintings, photographs, digital images, and visual content displayed in this Shopify store are the exclusive intellectual property of Katja Leibenath (hereinafter "the Artist"), an independent visual artist based in San Francisco, California. All rights are reserved.

All works are protected under the United States Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 101 et seq.), the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, and all applicable international copyright laws and treaties.

2. Prohibited Uses

Without the prior written consent of Katja Leibenath, you are strictly prohibited from:

3. Permitted Use

Viewing images within this store for the sole purpose of browsing and purchasing original works is permitted. Purchasers of original physical artworks receive ownership of the physical object only. No copyright, reproduction rights, or intellectual property rights are transferred through any sale unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement signed by the Artist.

4. Licensing & Permissions

Any use of images beyond personal viewing must be expressly authorized in writing by Katja Leibenath. Licensing inquiries — including requests for print reproduction, editorial use, commercial use, or collaboration — may be directed to the Artist directly. The Artist reserves the right to grant or deny any such request at her sole discretion.

5. Enforcement & Infringement

Unauthorized use of any image or artwork constitutes copyright infringement and will be pursued to the fullest extent permitted by law. Remedies may include, but are not limited to, monetary damages (including statutory damages of up to $150,000 per infringement for willful violations under U.S. law), injunctive relief, and recovery of legal fees and costs. The Artist actively monitors for unauthorized use of her work online and offline.

6. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

If you believe that your own copyrighted work has been used without authorization on this platform, or if you wish to report unauthorized use of Katja Leibenath's artwork, please contact the Artist directly with a detailed description of the matter. All reports will be investigated promptly.
